Warranty Information

SnoMaster products have been tested by SnoMaster before delivery.

Wild Coast Tents/ Snomaster.ca warrants to the end-user that this SnoMaster product is free from defects in material workmanship, for the period commencing from the date of purchase.  

The warranty period is 7 years on the 12Volt DC Compressor, 3 years on the 240V only Compressor and 2 years on all other parts.

Wild Coast Tents/ Snomaster.ca warrants the repair or replacement free of charge, of any part of the appliance; in their factory or Authorised Repair Agent which in their opinion is defective due to faulty componentry. 

Wild Coast Tents/ Snomaster.ca will not be held liable for any transport, courier, postage or delivery expenses of the product incurred by the customer.

Specifically EXCLUDED for the warranty is:

1. This warranty does not cover accidental damages due to incorrect handling, normal wear and tear, faulty installation, misuse, dirt/neglect, rodent/insect infestation, connection to incorrect voltages and acts of god.
2. The appliance must be used for purposes in accordance with the instructions stated in the owner’s manual.
3. The warranty will be rendered invalid if the product has been tampered with or altered in any way, or the serial number has been altered, defaced or removed.
4. The warranty will be rendered invalid if unauthorized repairs are attempted.
5. Any repairs done at any unauthorized repair agent; labor and parts will be for the customers account. 

Kindly retain your original PURCHASE INVOICE or Receipt to enforce this warranty.  Failure to produce your purchase invoice,  agreement will result in a charge being levied for work done, even if the appliance is claimed to be within the warranty period.

The warrantor Wild Coast Tents/ Snomaster.ca do not accept responsibility for:

1. Liability and consequential damage in respect of loss or expenses arising from malfunction of this appliance.
2. Freight/Courier costs or damage which may be incurred during transit to and from our designated service agent or our Head Office
3. Repair to appliance on which modifications or repairs have been carried out by persons not specifically nominated by the warrantor as being authorized SnoMaster Personnel/Agent.

Wild Coast Tents/ Snomaster.ca will not accept any responsibility or liability for consequential loss or damage caused by or due to failure of operation or malfunction of the product, or arising from the use of the product.

Claim Instructions:

Provide us with digital images showing conclusive proof of the defect

Submit proof of date of original purchase.

Please note the warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, tampering, unreasonable use or normal wear and tear.

Wild Coast Tents/ Snomaster.ca MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT-ABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR USE.

All our shipments are transit insured. Should your delivery arrive in a damaged condition, please do not accept the shipment, without advising the courier and making sure they note the damage on the delivery form. File a claim immediately with the courier company and please inform us ASAP.

Please do not sign or accept any damaged products as it becomes yours and there is nothing Wild Coast Tents/ Snomaster.ca can do to claim it damaged through the shipper!

Can you ship my order on the day that I place it? 

Orders are typically processed and shipped in 1-2 business days.- unless otherwise specified as backorders

If I place my order on a Friday, when will it ship? 

Typically, orders placed on Friday - ship out the following Monday. Unfortunately, Canada Post does not pick up packages on the weekend or most holidays.

From where will my order ship? 

All products ship from our location in Nova Scotia, 

Will I receive tracking information for my order? 

You will receive order tracking information via email. 

Are there fees associated with a cancelled order?

If you place an order online via credit card/Paypal and then decide to cancel it, there will be credit card fees charged of 5% 

If a order is cancelled after it has already shipped, shipping fees will also be deducted from the refund

If you refuse a package, we will deduct from your refund, any fees and additional shipping charges that we incur.

Any shipping charges will not be refunded if the product has been shipped

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We only ship internationally to the U.S.A. at present

International orders are shipped via UPS larger items by trucking company

Orders shipped outside Canada. will likely incur brokerage fees, customs fees, tariffs, duties, and/or other fees imposed by your country. 

Wild Coast Tents/ Snomaster.ca is not responsible for these fees and we have not included them in your shipping charges. 

You will have to pay these fees. 

If you refuse a package, we will deduct from your refund, any fees and additional shipping charges that we incur.

If you have any doubts about additional fees, please contact your local customs office before you place your order.

Cancelled orders that are placed via credit card/paypal will incur 4% refund fee

Oversized and heavy items may incur additional shipping charges and in some cases may not be shipped internationally. You will be contacted if additional charges apply.
